Global Infrared Sauna Leader Donates Wellness Package including Infrared Sauna and Two HALO ONE® Salt Therapy Devices after Local Spa’s Act of Gratitude
Carmel, IN — December 4, 2025 — What began as a routine emergency response has transformed into a sweeping show of support for first responders, thanks to a wellness donation from Clearlight®, the global pioneer and industry leader in infrared sauna technology, red light therapy, and wellness solutions for more than 28 yearsEarlier this month, the Carmel Fire Department (CFD) responded to a carbon monoxide alarm at Carmel Salt Caves & Spa after staff inadvertently dislodged a pipe connected to a gas heater. Firefighters quickly secured the building and ensured everyone’s safety, which is a reminder of the essential role carbon monoxide detectors play in any home or business using gas appliances.
While on site, firefighters mentioned a long-standing wish: access to an infrared sauna to support muscle recovery, respiratory health, and stress reduction, all of which are benefits increasingly recognized as essential for first responders.
In response, Carmel Salt Caves & Spa immediately donated their Clearlight Infrared Sauna to the Department.
But the story didn’t end there.
When Clearlight learned of the incident and the spa’s donation, the company took swift action to expand the gift beyond anyone’s expectations.
Clearlight is donating a second Clearlight Infrared Sauna to the Carmel Fire Department along with two HALO ONE® Salt Therapy devices, creating a wellness suite to further support the Carmel fire fighters’ respiratory health, muscle recovery, stress relief, and resilience.

The additional Clearlight Infrared sauna and HALO ONE devices will broaden CFD’s access to therapeutic tools shown to support:

- Reduced physiological stress load
- Respiratory health through dry salt aerosol therapy
- Detoxification support, including removal of heavy metals and environmental toxins
Clearlight has long supported firefighter wellness through a number of initiatives for individual firefighters, crews, as well as conducting scientific research for their long term wellness.
